Gary Clink leads the Solution Consulting team for Progress Software in Europe, Middle East, and Africa for a number of Progress products, including Rollbase, OpenEdge, Corticon, and DataDirect. His team performs the technical aspects involved in positioning and demonstrating Progress solutions during sales engagements; responds to customer enquiries relating to evaluation requests and invitations to tender; and is extremely active within the Progress Community http://community.progress.com.
Gary is involved in the strategic and day-to-day execution of Progress Pacific at a corporate and EMEA level. He is also member of the Progress Pacific SWAT team, a group that meets regularly to provide 'feedback from the field' to help shape Progress's go-to-market strategy.
Gary has been involved with Progress for 20+ years having originally learned to program in OpenEdge ABL (Progress 4GL) as part of his university degrees. Over the last 20 years, Gary has worked as an analyst, programmer and consultant with a focus on application development, configuration management and testing best practices working for companies like Grampian software, Petrochem UK Ltd., and Hewlett Packard.
